I received my Bachelor degree in French and Art Projects from The University of Brussels in Brussels, Belgium and my Master 1 in Modern language from the University Le Mirail (IUFM) in Toulouse, France.
Experience
I worked as a French teacher in a general public high school in Brussels Belgium, for three years. I also worked as a French teacher in a professional public high school in Mechelen Belgium for 1 year. And I was an art visual teacher in a professional public high school where I taught in Dutch in Mechelen, Belgium for 1 year. I have also worked as a private French tutor for five years. French is a world language, more than 220 million people speak it, and the only language that is thought in every country in the world. The ability to speak French can open a lot of opportunities, especially on the job market. It doesn't take long to reach a level where you're able to have a basic conversation in French. An ability to understand French offers a good view of the world through communication. So if you speak English and have a good knowledge of French, you can travel around the world and be able to communicate with everyone. I have two native languages. French and Dutch. I chose to learn French because first of all, it is my native language. Second of all learning French is the pleasure of learning a beautiful, rich, melodious language, often called the language of love. French is also an analytical language that structures thought and develops critical thinking, which is a valuable skill for discussions and negotiations. It is also a good base to learn Romance languages like Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Hobbies
Literature is my main hobby, I spend most of my free time reading books. My favorite french authors are Marcel Proust, Albert Camus, Françoise Sagan and Katherine Pancol. Those writers have learned me a lot about creative writing and inspired me through life. When I'm not reading I'm running, it makes me feel better. Next to my daily work-out, I cook. I'm a vegetarian, and I'm in love with the french cuisine. My favorite dish is 'tarte tatin'. I'm also a traveller, it's my first time in Australia, and I'm happy to offer my language skills. I'm staying with a family friend, he is also a teacher and he told me a lot about the education in Australia, which inspired me to stay. I tutored before, once I started my education until now. I had different students, most of them were between 12 and 22 years old. Due to my experiences teaching them, I've learned a great deal on how to best meet the individual needs of all my students.
